Simchat Torah Family Celebration

Join us for a special Simchat Torah Family Celebration designed for children in Pre-K through 2nd grade, though families with children of all ages are welcome!

We’ll begin the morning by joining the congregation for the excitement of dancing with the Torahs before gathering for a special program featuring music and movement with Moreh Matt, hands-on activities, a Torah unrolling experience, and plenty of family fun. As we complete one cycle of Torah reading and begin again with Bereishit, the story of creation, we’ll celebrate the beauty and wonder of God’s world with a special live animal show from Rizzo’s Wildlife, highlighting some of God’s amazing creatures.

Come celebrate the joy of Torah, the wonder of creation, and the beginning of a new year of Jewish learning with friends, family, and community!

Notice: The Closter area is currently experiencing a widespread internet outage. As a result, our internet and phone systems are down, and we may be slower to respond while service is being restored.   • Thursday, May 21st: The office will be close at 2:00 PM 
  • Friday, May 22nd: This office will be closed for Shavuot.
  • Monday, May 25th: The office will be closed for Memorial Day.

The office will reopen on Tuesday, May 26th.

During the summer, the Temple office will be closed on*:

  • Mondays (staff available via email)
  • Will close at 12:00 PM on Fridays beginning June 26th.

The building will remain open for Minyan
at all regularly scheduled times.

*On Thursday, June 25th the office will be closing at 12:00 PM
for professional development.
